Eleanor GORDE Obituary
She graduated from Poquoson High School and went on to graduate from Mary Immaculate School of Nursing.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Lynn Gorde.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Leslie (Gorde) Howerton of Newport News, Steve Gorde of Wisconsin, Tim Gorde and his wife, Vicki of Newport News, Gary Gorde of Gloucester; and grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Ryan and Scott Howerton, Timothy Gorde Jr., Ashley and Andrea Gorde.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.

My symapathy to all of Sue's family. I have known Sue from Nursing Schools days and remember what a sweet singing voice she had. A delightful person and I know she will be missed.
