Alice ALLEN Obituary
Mrs. Allen worked as a housekeeper and was a member of Chickahominy Baptist Church in Toano. Mrs. Allen was a loving and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and her family will miss her. She enjoyed singing and church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Spencer Allen; two sons, Jerry and George; three sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Thelma Barbour and her husband, James; seven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, where the funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Williamsburg Memorial Park.
