Mary ARNOLD Obituary
A Peninsula resident for more than 60 years, she worked as a cosmetologist at Three Sisters Beauty Salon. She was an active member of St. Matthew R.A.M.E. Church, Newport News.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Arnold; four sisters and two brothers, Paralee Anderson, Pearl Bishop, Evelyn Lyles, Elnora Williams, Ovid Counts and Plez Counts.
Survivors include one brother, Herman Counts and a host of nieces and nephews.
A homegoing service will be held 11a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at St. Matthew R.A.M.E. Church, 1002 Hampton Avenue, Newport News. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. There will be no public viewing.
