Roland TOLLIVER Obituary
He was a member of Greater Walters A.M.E. Zion Church in Newport News. Junie retired from the Newport News Shiyard X-33 Painters Departments after 35 years of dedicated service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland L. and Mary Elizabeth Tolliver; and grandson, Gerald Tolliver.
Junie is survived by his wife, Iretha; sons, Frank (Shelia), Roland (Francine); daughter, Pamela Hall; son-in-law, Kenneth Hall; four grandchildren, Jamaal, Jason, Roland and Nicole; great-granddaughter, Jayla Hall; his little man, Keenon; brother, Maurice Tolliver (Hineatha); sisters, LaBarbara Fauntleroy and Delores Blackwell; sister-in-law, Mattie Tolliver; special friend, Kendra Minor; a host of loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and dedicated friends.
A funeral service will be held 11a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at Greater Walters A.M.E. Zion Church, 656- 28th Street, Newport News. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
