Stanley DICKENS Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Stanley Cedric Dickens passed away on Nov. 15, 2010. He was born on Sept. 24, 1938, to the late Matthew and Julia McLaurin Dickens in Pinetops, N.C.
Stanley served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was formerly employed at the N.N. Shipbuilding & Drydock Company and Hops Taxi.
He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Magdalene Beatrice Dickens.
He is survived by seven siblings, Matthew Jr., Leonard "Screwball", Claudia, Carlton, Randy, Jeffrey, and Perry Dickens, 11 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held noon Saturday, Nov. 20, at O. H. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today (Friday) at the funeral home. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
