Dear Dorothy and family, I am so sad to hear that Pete has passed on. I'm sure he's receiving his Heavenly reward now. We saw you both at the Chesapeake two years ago when we had dinner with Albert, Rosemary and Leila. He was a good friend and classmate in Hilton. Love, Virginia.

Dear Dot, I was so saddened to learn of Pete's passing just today. I have been ill and have not been checking my email for days. A friend from church did call me today and asked if I knew and I was so very sorry to learn of it. I can certainly relate to your loss and pray that our Lord will sustain you during this time of your great loss. Pete was such a friendly gentleman, easy to know and like and such a good, dedicated Christian. My heart and prayers go out to you, June McGlohn

Virginia, Am saddened to know of Pete's homegoing. Pete and Bill were great friends of mine back in the Village days. And, I remember them and you fondly. May the God of all comfort,
be close to you and the family now.

My deepest condolences to Pete's family. Pete was a wonderful Uncle to my husband, Tom Preston, and a kind and caring friend to me. I feel privileged to have known him and been in his family. I am saddened by his loss.

Pete Preston was one of the finest Christian men I know. If it weren't for his zeal for Missions, our church would not have a Missions Team. His leadership and inspiring attitude I will never forget. I never saw him without a smile on his face, and he always had a kind word for me. What a wonderful example he set. God blessed Dot with a wonderful partner.
