To Ashley and Anthony---Our hearts go out to you at this very difficult & sad time. Alan and I know what it is like to lose an infant. The overwhelming sadness and shock of losing someone so precious. I do not know if you remember or not but we lost a son, Micah. He was our first and he was a full-term baby. It was a very hard time in our lives as I know this time for you is as well. Please know that we are here for you if you want to talk. I know that you will see precious Erin again as we will see Micah one day too. Hold on to each other and rely on God. He can and will provide you strength. Please know we are praying for you many many times during the day.

To my loving sister and brother-in-law: I can not imagine the grief that you are experiencing during this very difficult time. I hope you find solace one day in knowing that Erin is looking down at you from heaven and that you, too, will be with her again. She is truly a gift from God and I am so thankful that I got to spend a few precious hours with my beautiful niece. I love you both very much.
