Gloria FULENWIDER Obituary
She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Lagatta; two sisters, Rodelia Cabarles and Natividad Cabarles; a brother, Andrew Cabarles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Mariann Poineau, Rachel and Maria Williams for their extensive help during Gloria's illness.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at Peninsula Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.

i had no idea that Gloria was back in Newport News or that she was very ill. Sorry I didn't know. I will miss her very much. Best wishes for you and give me a call if you wish. Bill

You and my daughter Stephanie were classmates at Mt. Carmel and I was your "room mother". I remember what a lovely lady your mother was. I was so sorry to hear of her passing.

Gloria and I were employees of the same Department at Bendix Corp. We developed a good friendship that lasted through the years. We will pray for her eternal rest in God's Mansion. Stephanie, we will pray for you too.

Gloria, was one of my dearest friend, we met in 1971 and even when she left Newport News for awhile, she always kept in touch with me. I loved her very much.
