Dr. Edwards was my doctor from 1975 until he retired. There was never a more compassionate doctor. He delivered both of my sons, the first in 1977 and our second in 1983, and I always thought of him as a friend.

Both of us wish to convey our sorrow and deep sympathy to your family in the loss of your husband/father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, in my case as a nursing instructor in L&D at Riverside, and Ron who worked with both Bonita and Norm in association with Planned Parenthood, and with Norm's daughter, Rebecca, while she was at CNU. May God's Peace be with you.

Benita & Rebecca,
At this time of sorrow, please remember that your husband and father cared for and brought so much joy to so many during his years in practice. As a patient of Dr. Edwards for 30+ years, I held him in high esteem and regarded his medical opinion as one of the best in his field. May your days ahead be comforted by the lovely memories of such well respected man.

I was saddened to learn of Dr. Edwards passing. He delivered my last baby 28 years ago. I just saw him and his wife for a few seconds in passing at Busch Gardens several weeks ago. I didn't know he was an angel unaware. I remember when I turned thirty years old I was whining about it in his office one day and he started playing his little miniture record player with his fingers, but he always had an ear for my complaints. I'm sorry for your loss.

To Dr. Edwards Family,
Dr. Edwards saw me in his Denbigh Office when he worked with Dr. Morrison years ago. I had an ectopic pregnancy and had passed out in the office on the floor as I walked down the hallway. Dr. Edwards picked me up off the floor and carried me in his big strong arms, out to my friends car and sat me inside. I have never forgotten the care and compassion shown by him when I was so sick. He and Dr. Morrison were both such good Doctors.
My deepest sympathies go out to his family. I know he will be missed by many. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Mrs. Edwards and Rebecca , thank you for sharing your husband and father with us. I worked with Dr. Edwards at Riverside L&D for 16 years. He always had a smile on his face and loved sharing his love of life and his family with us! He will be truely missed by his patients and the Riverside L&D Family past and present. What a great picture of him that you shared with his obituary. Please, know that we grieve with you and rejoice in knowing that he was a servant of the Lord. May God's love and grace be with you doing this very difficult time. In Christian Love, Lois Beale Gwaltney, RN.
