He was a man of great integrity and was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an active member of the James River Country Club and the Hampton Roads Assembly. When not practicing law, he could be found on the golf course, boating, or spending time with family and friends.

Dear Robinson Family, my thoughts and prayers are extended to your entire family on the loss of a great Christian man, not only as a father and husband, but also as the Commonwealth's Attorney; I remember being hired by him in 1980 as a secretary. Though not able to fulfill my job, I am sure it would have been great to work for such a wonderful man. May it bring you great peace and comfort to know where he is, resting in peace. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Robinson while working as a bailiff in Judge Fisher's court. He was a fine, patient gentleman in every sense of the word. Over the years I considered him a friend and enjoyed our conversations very much. We will miss him very much. Our prayers are with the Robinson family.

The Robinson Family, My sympathy to your family. I had the honor and privilege of working for Mr. Robinson while he worked at Hall, Fox and AtLee. He was a kind and generous man. I can still hear him talking about his criminal cases saying he "had to reach in the fire and pull them out". He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Robinson family,
My heart is heavy after reading of Mr. Robinson passing. I was in the Sunday school classes that he taught and looked up to him as a good teacher of the bible and also used to ask him about things he did as a profession. My dad was city manager and talked highly of Mr. Robinson when I was a young kid. May God be with all of you at this sad time.

Dear Pat, Melissa, and Monte:
It is Sunday afternoon and Hazel and I are so sorry we did not learn about today's visitation. We love your Dad and Mom and Mom is a classmate of ours at Longwood. I fondly remember him attending our 50th reunion. He had as much fun as all of us. What a classy and wonderful man. What a great marriage they enjoyed. Love, Eleanor Turner.
