Dear Marie and Donna

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are will both of you.
I will be out of town on Thursday and unable to attend the visitation or memorial, but, I wanted you to knwo that I have many fond memories of growing up with Donnie and your family. There are not many people with whom one can speak fondly of such things as marsh mud, muskrat holes and falling out of trees. Good times!!

They really were good times and I do hold them dear.

I am sorry I will miss Thursday, but, I do sincerely mean that you all are all in my thoughts and prayers.
