Virginia HOGGE Obituary

KING & QUEEN - Virginia "Ginny" Frances Hogge, 79, went Home to be with her parents and Lord Savior on June 15, 2010.
Frances was born Nov. 17, 1930. She was a very affectionate person who knew no stranger. Frances loved giving hugs, wearing colorful jewelry, and touching everyone's heart. The family would like to give special thanks to Ginny's caregivers Pat, Chris, Amy and Kim at The Valley, Friendship Road, Gloucester and Riverside Walter Reed Hospice.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Eddie Hogge; her sisters, Agnes Johnson and Olivia Daniel; her brother, Eugene Hogge; and nephew, Herbie Hogge.
Frances leaves to cherish her memory, brothers, Fred Hogge (Pauline), John Hogge (Sheila); sisters, Marion Thrift and Grace Bernoski (Eddie) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, June 18, at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va. The family will receive friends 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Friday. Burial will follow in Porporone Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to your favorite charity or to the Riverside Walter Reed Hospice, Route 17, Box 1130, BLDG A Suite 210, Gloucester, VA 23061 or Sola Group, The Valley, 7228 Ark Road, Gloucester, VA 23061.
