Ann HAWKS Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Ann Marie Hawks, 80, passed from this life on Nov. 18, 2010.
She was a native of McDowell County, W.Va. She worked for the York County School System and enjoyed homemaking, flower arranging and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hawks in 1992; her parents, Howard and Maude Osbourne; her sisters, Mildred Blevins and Beatrice Graveley; and her brothers, Oscar Ferguson, Grover Osbourne and Hoover Osbourne.
She leaves behind her in-laws, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30 Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at Weymouth Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:30, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Hampton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions go to Odyssey Hospice, 1407 Foulk Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803.
