Anna FINK Obituary
Anna was a native of Ronceverte, W.Va., and was a Peninsula resident since 1953. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and was instrumental in starting the Easter Egg project.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Edward P. Fink; and a granddaughter, Lara Ann Fink.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeannie Turner and her husband, Jerry of Newport News; a son, Gary Fink and his wife, Peggy of Yorktown; a brother, George D. Persinger Jr.; four grandchildren, Patty Thomas, Jessica Lienard, Josie Anderson, and Jana Turner; and four great-grandchildren, Emily Yates, Thomas, Anabelle and Owen Lienard.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Yorktown. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.

I only met Anna a few times but my wife Karen would visit her and Lucky for hours each Sunday while I visited with my Father. I remember how Karen's eyes filled with tears as she looked towards Anna's room yesterday. Through her tears she mentioned what a truly wonderful friend Anna was to her and she hopes Lucky has a loving new home.
Anna was a blessing to all who knew her and she will be dearly missed. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and may God shower her family with comfort.

Jeannie, Jerry, Jessica, Josie and Jana: The loss of a mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother is such a hard thing to go thru. Anna Fink will never be forgotten.
