Nature

As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.

Nanny,
There are no more worries where you are at, you are so lucky to be with your love of your life and loving husband Angelo my Papa. Please give him my love and kisses as well as my Andrew and Jane Homa (Grandma & Grandpa) I know all four are happy and in glory with the Lord. You all are probably looking down on us as our guardian angels as if you weren't an angel yourself on earth. I will never forget our summers together and all the holidays we spent as a big family. I know that made you and Papa happy to have all your children, grandchildren, and great grand babies all together. That's all you and Papa ever wanted, and eventually we will all be together again amongst the presence of our Lord. I will forever miss you and will continually love you with all the memories that I have in my heart and soul. Until that glorious day comes and we meet again......I love you Nanny so much and you will be missed more than you would ever imagine.
Love,
your Missy Boo Boo

Miss Me - But Let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul that is free?

Miss me a little but not too long
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me -- but let me go.

For this is a journey
that we all must take,
And each must go alone,
It's all a part of the master plan
A step on the road home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrows
in doing good deeds,
Miss me -- but let me go.
