Barbara ARRE Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Barbara Therese Arre, 70, of Williamsburg, died Friday, May 21, 2010, at Hospice House of Williamsburg.
Mrs. Arre was formerly from Long Island, N.Y., and was a member of St. Olaf Catholic Church in Norge. Barbara loved gardening, cooking, working cross-word puzzles and being a grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Frank R. Arre; her sons, Jeff Arre and his wife, Susan of Fredericksburg, and Timothy Arre of Williamsburg; her daughter, Jill Arre of Newport News; her brother, Robert Ball of Raleigh, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Arre; and her sister, Susan Acquavia.
A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 24, at Covenant Funeral Service Chapel, 4801 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg. Interment will be private. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today, May 23, at the funeral home.

Dear Frank and Family, We are so sorry for your loss.Barbara was always one of my favorite cousins.I will always have fond memories when I was little when she used to baby sit me in Breezy Point. Ed & Susan Peterson
