Bertha BLOUNT Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Hubert Dempsey and Nelson Blount.
She is survived by four daughters, Marilyn Starkes, Cassandra Lee, Cynthia and Veronica Dempsey; one son, William Dempsey; two sisters, Isabella T. Alston and Ann T. Stith; two brothers, Matthew and Wilbert Thompson.
Viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. today, Dec. 11, followed by a funeral, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Battleboro, N.C. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
