Judy,
Please forgive me for not expressing my condolences to you also. I had taught Lisa when she was at Menchville High School and immediately thought of her. A number of Bettie Lou's classmates have expressed an interest in attending the memorial service. Can you email me information about this? Thank you.
My thougts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Judy and Lisa,
How sad I was to learn of Bettie Lou's passing. She will be remembered by many of her Washington High School classmates of 1958 as a gentle, kind and caring friend. I wish that she had been able to come to our 50th class reunion...she would have enjoyed hearing the many memories we shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Judy,
I was saddened to learn of Bettie Lou's death. As a newcomer to Washington High School, she helped me integrate into a new school and community. I have fond memories of Washington because of people like her. Her memories will linger because of the person she was.

Lisa,
I'm a classmate of Betty Lou's and I too, am deeply saddened by her death. Those of us who grew up with her and went to school with her will always remember her, the joy she brought to our lives and the solace she provided in our times of pain and need. And, trite though it may sound, she will live within our hearts and minds as well as be remembered in our prayers. And, we pray that you will find solace in your own heart as you cope with your loss.

Lisa,
I was saddened to hear of the death of your mother. I have many fond high school memories of her - afternoons at her house, pajama parties, CYF on Sunday nights at the First Christian Church and outings with that group, and, of course, a special trip to Atlantic Beach in her folks' big Pontiac. I hope knowing that others remember her fondly will comfort you at this time.

I am saddened by the loss of Ms. Carmines Matkins. She was my first supervisor at NNDSS(1975). I will always remember her as a very caring and thoughtful person. The things she taught me and the responsibilities she gave me were essential to my development in my social service career. Ms. Carmines Matkins will always be dear to my heart.
May your faith and fond memories of her during this time of sorrow bring you much comfort.
