Betty STYRON Obituary

HAMPTON - Betty Jean Styron, 62, of Hampton, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010.
She graduated from Carver High School in 1966 and was a member of New Life Church.
She is survived by her husband , Samuel Styron Jr.; son, Andre Styron of Hampton; daughters, Melinda Styron of Hampton, and Stefanie Styron of Newport News; sister, Faye Harris of Newport News; brother, Danny (Fannie) McMillian of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, D'nedra and Jaron; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th Street, NN,VA 23607. Homegoing celebration will be held at noon Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at New Life Church, 1525 Power Plant Parkway. Interment will follow in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, Va.
