During my Air Force carrer and with the 8th AF, I flew the top turret on our B 24 with Buford Collings and John R. Wiley as pilot and c-pilot, With Buford and John flying our B 24 during our combat time, the skill and deacation of these two men is the reason that Collings air-crew all came home in with out injury - Bouford was a credit to the Air Force and a true man -- I certainly miss him already and wil never forget him and his bravery.

I remember both Mr & Mrs Collings fondly from their days in Kings Grant. They were the parents of one of my closest high school friends, Sarita. May memories of happy days past bring peace and joy to family and friends.

I knew him to be a fine man, devoted to his country and family. He will be missed. I offer my condolences to the family in their time of this loss, but know he has joined his wife and is happy again.
