Capitola GEER Obituary

HAYES - Capitola Lathem Geer, 91, died peacefully on Dec. 26, 2009 in the company of her loving family at Cuba Island.
Mrs. Geer was a professional photographer, but her priority was being the best military wife and loving mother. She enjoyed cross stitch and needlepoint, but her true delight was spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Geer brought a light and love to each life she touched and her sweetness, gentleness and loving nature will live on in those who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Geer; and parents, Joel and India Lathem.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Muron and husband, Dr. David Muron; grandchildren, Andrew and Catherine Asher, Angela and Andrea Asher and special friend, Cameron Lewis, Matthew, Anthony and Christina Muron.
Entombment next to her husband, will be in Southern Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Miami, Fla.
In memory of our beloved Capitola, memorial contributions may be sent to Riverside Walter Reed Hospice Unit, P.O. Box 1130, Gloucester, VA 23061.
Arrangements by Hogg Funeral Home and Crematory, Gloucester Point. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
