Counts, Tina Romero, Tony Darnell, Nicole and Johnathan Harvey, and Tommy Hooper; and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Kannarkat and the staff at Riverside Cancer Center and Riverside Hospice for their kindness and care. Our family is greatly diminished by the death of our dear Uncle Carl. He taught us how to live with joy, loyalty and bravery. He taught us to look on the bright side of all things and be thoughtful and generous with others. I am so lucky to have had him in my life, and I know that he and mother are watching over us all.

I want to first and foremost thank Carl for giving me my beautiful and lifelong friend Kay (his daughter). She's a gift I will always treasure. My heart just aches for all of you. It's so hard to let go, but take some comfort in knowing he's young again and free from pain. He's now living in his mansion in Heaven. Amen.
