Carl L. HOOD Jr.

Our family is greatly diminished by the death of our dear Uncle Carl. He taught us how to live with joy, loyalty and bravery. He taught us to look on the bright side of all things and be thoughtful and generous with others. I am so lucky to have had him in my life, and I know that he and mother are watching over us all.

Your humor, good nature and loving heart will be cherished by all who knew you. May God hold you in his arms and love you as we do.

Kay and family - I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I know this is a difficult time in your life. God Bless you and your family.

What a special man Uncle Carl was. I am so thankful to have such wonderful memories of him. He is now in heaven with my precious grandmother and his sister, Edna. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, please know we love you all.

Thank you Mr. Hood for your service to our country as a member of the Greatest Generation. You made sacrifices that we can only imagine. God Bless the family left behind and Glory in Heaven as you receive your reward!

I want to first and foremost thank Carl for giving me my beautiful and lifelong friend Kay (his daughter). She's a gift I will always treasure. My heart just aches for all of you. It's so hard to let go, but take some comfort in knowing he's young again and free from pain. He's now living in his mansion in Heaven. Amen.
