To the Family,

Aunt Carrie was God's Jewel, Her contribution to her family will live on. I remember seeing her before she moved back to Virginia to get married and she was so excited.
Her and my dearly missed cousin (Johnnie Gambrell) will rejoice in heaven! Family continue to lift up the name of Jesus, for He is your stength and comfort during this time.

When I received the news of Ma Baker's passing, it truly took my breath away. I was not prepared. My heart is truly hurting. Ma Baker was such a wonderful woman of God. She loved the Lord and did not mind telling you so. I will always cherish the many talks and laughs that her and I shared. She was so very funny. Even during her illness, Ma Baker was thinking of others. I will miss the visits with Ma and Dad Baker. Dad Baker, I know that Ma loved you because of the way she looked at you and attended to your needs. To her children and grandchildren, Ma always spoke about you all with so much animation and you could feel the love. To all that knew and loved Ma Baker, may God comfort you through this season of mourning.
