Dad, I miss you so much already. I didn't know my heart could hurt this much. I cry and want you here for selfish reasons. I was not ready to let go. I know you are in a better place where you can move freely with no pain and for that, I am so happy for you. Time will heal my heart and the tears will eventually stop. I will always have my memories of you until we see each other again. I love you and may you now rest in peace. Until we meet again.... Kelly Walter "THE BABY".

So sorry for your Loss, Linda, Mike,Catlin,Emily, and the whole Manning Family. I never met Cecil in person but heard so many great things about him from Trina. Trina thought the world of Cecil. Cecil was Trina's favorite client when she worked for Burks bookkeeping and Tax service. Linda's family were our great neighbors for a long time and send my heart felt condolences to them.

I have known Ceci since 1991. He was great to talk with and just "be around." His stories of not only the shipyard but driving his truck could keep your interest for hours. Although I have not seen him for a few years, I continued to think aboiut him and his family. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with them.

My good friend Cecil has entered Heaven to be with our Heavenly father. I am going to miss Cecil very much, but one day I will see him again. I first met Cecil in the shipyard, he was my electrical supervisor. Cecil was a great supervisor and he had a sense of humor unmatched by anyone else. Since 1969, I have kept up with my friend, and I was proud to do so. He always thought of others and he loved his family very much. I recently went to ICU and visited with Cecil. I asked him if he had ever accepted Jesus Christ as his savior, and he knodded yes! That made my heart feel so good that knowing he was a child of God. He is now in his heavenly home with his great humor and smiling face. This world has been made better by having Cecil in it, and I am honored to have known him. God bless you Mrs Manning and all of the other family. My prayers are with you all!!
