Cornelia COLLINS Obituary

TOPPING - Cornelia Ellen Bristow Collins, age 94, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010. She was born in Middlesex County on June 14, 1915.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Marshall A. Bristow and Thomas S. Bristow; and her sister, Mary Bristow Garber; as well as her husband, Murrell Becton Collins.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Janet and Bill MacClarence, and Connie and John Robertson; three grandsons, John MacClarence, Bryan MacClarence, and Beck Hill; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 98, Deltaville, VA 23043; or the Harmony Grove Baptist Church, P.O. Box 138, Topping, VA 23169.
