On this day 2 years ago my life changed. A morning that replays in my mind often. I got the most devastating news I've ever received in my life. Losing a loved one is never easy and some days are easier than others. A lot of days I want to cry and just quit but I have to smile and keep pushing. How I miss my baby my heart my nephew Darius Dixon. There are times I still look for you to walk into the room. I know your watching over us and cheering us on. I deeply apologize to hear that Darius has passed away in a car accident on Dec 7. Although I don't know him well, at least he's a great track sprinter to be honest. Imma have my thoughts and prayers to be sent to his family during this devastating moment. May the good lord keep him in the palm of his hand. It's a good thing that he's in a better place as of now. I loved him so much. I lost my own brother my first year of high school and now I lost another brother figure in my first year of college. I loved him so much. I did everything with Darius. I am forever grieved. In all, I know that God is sovereign and God is good. The only reason why I can sleep at night is because I am rest assured that he is in good hands. May the peace of God which passes all understanding be our portion forever and ever. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. I know that it is hard to let go of someone very close to you, how much you will miss them and love them. But think about it this way, God needed a special helper and he decided to choose Darius for a very important reason. Although the reason is unknown,Darius must have been a very special person for that job. Just keep your faith strong with God, because he is watching over us and everything we do. Know that in our hearts that through this most difficult time Darius will never be forgotten. For he is in a better place, in good hands. Never forget to pray to God even throught the hardest of times.

I know how much we miss and love family once someone has gone away. Just know that if you keep your faith with the lord he will always be there for you. You just have to be strong during the most difficult times and never forget that God is always wathing over you and if you stick with him there is nothing that you cant do. We will never forget precious Darius. As a child he would play out in the lobby of the church (Bethel) with our daughter Julia. I know, said there will never be any words that I can say to take away the pain and the laws that you're feeling. Never ever would you ever imagine that this day would come. Thank God that you're strange is strong who that you believe that God has done everything for a reason.
