Earl MORAN Obituary

NEW POINT - Earl E. Moran Sr., 75, of New Point, Va., took the train to Heaven on May 23, 2010, at his home.
He was born in Norfolk, Va., Dec. 14, 1934. He retired from McLean Trucking Co. after 30 years of driving over the road. Later retired from Fort Eustis after 15 years of service. He loved to fish and work on his Model Train Collection with his grandsons. He was a kind and gentle man to all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn Moran; four children, Joseph Hartley and wife, Dawn, Cathy Whitt and husband, Tim, Michael Moran and Earl Eugene Moran Jr.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two special little "Angels," Emily and Mackenzi.
A celebration of his life will be held at New Point friends Church, Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 2 p.m. Come celebrate his life with family and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Haggerty, Beth and Hope of Hospice for their love and support.
