Edith BULLOCK Obituary
Edith was born Feb. 27, 1916, in Halifax County, Va., to the late Wilson and Libby Jordan. In 1944, she moved to Brooklyn, N.Y., and then later on to Queens, N.Y., where she resided until 1997.
Edith was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph H. Bullock; her siblings, Arie Carr, Hester Roberts, James Essex Jordan, and Elizabeth "Tee" Simmons.
She is survived by her son, Donald Bullock, of Irvine, Calif.; her sisters, Ruby Thomas, Magnolia Crawford, and Geraldine Payne, all of Williamsburg, Va.; her brother, Major Jordan, of Williamsburg, Va.; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Pirette Jordan, of Newport News, Va.; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian Bartlett and Charles Bartlett, of Delaware, and Willis Jordan of Brooklyn, N.Y.; her three granddaughters; and her three great-granddaughters.
The family will receive guests form 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010, at the funeral home. Her funeral service celebrating the life she lived will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010, in St. John Baptist Church, 1397 Penniman Rd., Williamsburg.

Hi Guys, It was always fun getting together with Memaw. She was so sharp in the mind and very kind. I remember when we went to Williamsburg with the girls one time she said we our going to meet Magnolia, as we walked down the street everyone was saying hi to the both of them. She was liked wherever she was. I know that our family (Kristen Skye and LeeAnn and I) will miss her sweet spirit
as I'm sure you will. To our family in other states and Don we love you all and have been praying for you. God Bless the Pepe's4
