My heartfelt condolences to Edie's family. I met Edie at church in Ghent, and we became good friends. She always wanted to be called "Angie" but I always called her Edie! After she moved to Newport News and Yorktown I was not able to visit her as often, but we kept in touch over the phone and internet. She used to send me humorous emails that would always brighten my day. I still miss her after all these years. Enjoy the rest of your celestial journey, Edie.

Dear Harriet, Jon, and family,
My deepest sympathy and condolences to you.
I spoke with Edie recently, and will miss her very much. She was a great friend, and over the fifteen years that we knew each other, we loved to laugh, talk, empathize, and commiserate.
I am very sorry for your loss.
May Edie rest in peace.
Love,
Peter

Oh I am at a loss for words. Edith and I went to Warwick High together then we worked at Western Sizzlin together when we were 16. We worked, went out to clubs, talked a lot, had private jokes...we laughed and we cried together...sometimes we fought like sisters. I remember the day she came and told me of her MS diagnoses in 1987...we both laid in bed holding each other and crying for hours...It had been at least 6 months since I spoke to her on the phone. I'm feeling sorry that I let my own life get in the way of being there for her.
I know she's in a better place and that she's with her mother and her old cat "Jezzibelle"...Harriett, my condolences to you and your family. She loved you and your girls and she spoke of you all a lot.
See ya Edith "Angie" one day girl...maybe we'll get on the dancefloor again!
I love you
Anna

Mosie,
I'm lost for words. We were a few days away from getting together after all these years. I wish I can ask Father Time to put off your untimely death a little(a lot) while longer.
I'm going to miss you.
