She was like a mom to me. She lived a faith filled life and Barb and Tom were so good to her. I am sure she is smiling down on all of us

She painted our nails for the first time, She introduced us to french braids. She was my pen pal before I could write. My mom would get a typed letter almost every week and inside there was a letter just for me, handwritten. I Loved her letters.
Then there were the games. Nana and Grandpa loved scrabble. I have to say I'm a poor looser when it comes to games but not when they played with us. I love scrabble because of them.
I hope to live to be 99 just like her. I believe the secret was eating IHOP's Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity. At age 98 she enjoyed every bite.
Love you Nana,
Your Pen Pal and granddaughter.

Eloise and her smiling face will be missed in our salon!! She was a wonderful person, and I am glad I have gotten to know her over the past several years. I too just lost my father before Christmas suddenly..they are together with the Angels. My prayers are with you and your family.

Eloise will be missed terribly at our Red Hat luncheons. She was a wonderful lady. Barb and all the family will be in my prayers.

Beautiful. Now she is in heaven with poppyseed, probably playing and winning Canasta and Phase 10. We will miss her and I will cheer even harder for the Yankees.

Bless the dear lady and her family with the peace of the Christ Child. What a long and fruitful life she lived. We know by faith that she now lives on in lasting joy. We need to remind ourselves that her being in the presence of Joy Itself, in a real way--due to her memory of us--makes us present there also. I'm sorry I never met her face-to-face; but in the communion of the saints (of which we are a part, by baptism) I'm sure she knows me well. My call this morning to Mrs. Carrol was a shock; but I could sense the peace that comes from knowledge of a good life, well lived. Peace to all.

A most gracious and loving lady has left our earthly presence and found peace in Heaven with her husband, family and friends who preceded her. One day we will see her smiling face again amongst the angels. My prayers for her family that she leaves behind as I know she will be sorely missed. May the Lord be with you.
