All these years later and I still think about you and thank you for being my friend. From the time I got pranked into clear tape on my CAC card and before I could even say maybe I don't need a new one, you had already made one with a smile on your face; to the time when I wanted to buy my first car and I saw a VW Thing over by the base theater and before I could say the words I'm interested, you said that you'd check it out for me with that same glad to help smile on your face. At news of your passing I was already taking care of my mother and could not financially attend, she is up there with you, her name is Deena if you want to say hello. There are many other thoughts of you that pass through my mind, but more so I wanted to say, you are not forgotten.

I don't know why I happened to think about you since we have not really spoken in about seven years but I did. Thank you for befriending a new Airmen in a foreign country. We had some good times in the UK. Sorry we lost touch. See you on the flip side :P

Baby, I miss you so much -- every minute of every day and every night. You are and always will be so much a part of me. I love you with all of my heart. It is so hard to exist in a world, where you no longer do. Every day is a constant struggle to survive. You are my heart, my life and my world. I miss your touch, just seeing you smile and hearing you as you always did tell me how much you love me and that everything was going to be alright. It is hard even now to think you won't walk back through the door and say hey baby so good to be home. You always had a way to calm me, as I did you. We had such an amazing relationship, what we have always was so amazing. Most people in this lifetime, never find something like we did and I am glad we shared that together. I will hold all of the wonderful memories close to my heart until the day we meet again in Heaven. You are the love of my life and you will be greatly missed by me always and forever.
Love Always,
The Wife

Son-I miss you so very much, your on my mind night and day. You left this earth way too soon, and as I lay in bed everynight I say goodnight to you, and wish I could hear your voice again, saying "Hi old man"...
There are soo masny memories of you growing up, singing in the back seat our a many rides home to Virginia and back to North Carolina.
The day you were born, I was so happy and excieted that I had a son I felt as if I was going to burst with pride and joy, and running to the local newspaper to buy copies because your name was in it.
You never let me down Erich, I was always so proud of you, and your Air Force career, I was so looking forward to the day that you passed me up in rank, and so did you!
You always told me that I had a place in your garage to live in when I got older and that was a on going joke but I wish we could live that out right now!
I wanted to be next to your VW that we loved so much, I remember the day when we went to the mans house and you brought it, you were so proud and happy.
I miss you son and love you so very much, and cry when I think of all the great times that we will miss being together and talking.
Now the fondest memory I have is sitting on your bed next to you and holding you and having you rest your head on my shoulder and you telling me "Dad I Love you" I still choak up thinking about that!
Love you so dearly Son

Erich, You will always be missed. You had a smile that could light up any room you stepped foot in. You had a great sense of humor. No matter what kind of a day it might have been, you always knew how to make me laugh or calm me. You and me had something really special. I will miss you and love you til the day I die. I promise to keep your memory alive. I love you baby and may you rest in peace.

E-Rich,
You were my first supervisor and mentor. It took me a while to get used to your oddball personality, and dry sence of humor. But it grew on me, and now will be missed by many. It's hard to believe that almost 4 years ago y ou took me in, fresh out of Technical Training as A1C Schwart. Now I'm going to be a Staff Sgt shortly, and you deff had in impact on that. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, wisdom, and opinions with me over the years. Thank you for the many nights of card playing, hanging out, and dinners with Shawna and I. You are in a better place. I know that one day we will meet again and can talk about coffee and cameras once again. Take care. Love you dude.

You were more than a nephew, you were a great friend, with many plans and nice things to say about everyone. I know God has many plans for you as well. Love, Uncle Jimmy

I did not know your handsome grandson, but I pray for you in this time of great loss. Lillian kept me posted on his fight with cancer, and I know personally how difficult and devastating it is. May God be with you and your entire family

The master uhm...Dungeon Master. Weaving the tales through wit and wordplay, E-dub was a master at this, like a GREAT many things he put his mind to. TORC...Chuckshine concerts...REM lyrics...Yeah. Dude...Your leaving this realm leaves a large vacuum in the lives of many. I wish the love your wife has for you could have kept you around a helluva lot longer...

Erich- you will be sorely missed. Know that we are all here for your wife and family. My favorite memory was from February 2006. I was going through a divorce and very much not in the valentine's mood. I advertised the DFAC Valentine's Day Dinner- and added it could be a non valentine's day dinner for all those who were opposed to the holiday. That day you came by to drop off a happy 'non-valentine's day' card. That was the type of thing you would do- raise the spirits of others. Thank you for that and all of the memories! Deb Parsons
