We enjoyed knowing Bud in the Valley of Virginia. We had the privilege of kayaking and wood-carving with him and appreciate his skills, stories, and kind and gentle manner. We have good memories of him and wish the same for the family. Ann and Walter Daggett

When Bud was living in the Valley of Virginia I spent a lot of time in his home sharing his hospitally. I was allways amazed at his skill in carving and his patience in restoring antique vehicles. Our love to the Buckwalter family as we say good by to Bud. Ernie Miller

Dear Buckwalter family,
We read the notice of Bud's death and were reminded again of how talented he was. Your care of him over the last few years was inspirational! We have a treasured photo of he and Esther with the restored model A Ford station wagon. Sorry we can not be with you for his services. Love from Harry & Mildred Kraus
