I enjoyed sitting behind Everette in church for a number of years. I missed being with my dad in his last years, but as I watched the love and care that Everette got from his son and daughter-in-law I was comforted. He was indeed blessed.

I will always remember our family times at the cabin on Cobbs Creek. Uncle Red always told the best stories. His ghost stories were the best and they scared us kids to death! He was a loving, caring uncle. We will all miss him very much. Brett

Everette Steelman Ketchum, Sr. (I knew him as Red) was a wonderful neighbor and friend, as was the whole family including his brother Pap. Mr. Ketchuman' s son (Steelman) was my best friend growing up
on W. Queen St. I think of the Ketchum family often. Whenever I think
of the folks who lived on W. Queen St., Hampton the Ketchum family comes to mind. Mr. Ketchum will be greatly missed.
My prayer is that the Lord will give you Peace.

Steelman and Arliss,

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Mr. Ketchum. We remember him from some typing I did not so long after we moved to Gloucester. It was soon after your mother died, Steelman. He was a true Southern gentleman, and he certainly lived a long (and, we hope, happy life).

May God fill your hearts with wonderful memories.

God Bless,
