Frances DELLINGER Obituary

GLOUCESTER - Frances E. Dellinger, 90, died on Jan. 3, 2010 at Riverside Convalescent Center, Mathews, Va., where she had resided for the last 8 years.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was born in Floyd County, Va., and was the widow of Hughes Ray Dellinger Sr., and the daughter of the late Rufus and Susanna Epperly. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Epperly; and a sister, Dessa Moricle.
She is survived by her son H.R. (Ray) Dellinger Jr. (Kimm) of Gloucester; her daughters, Madge Winfree (Wes) of Gloucester; and Emogene Adkins of Pulaski, Va.; her brothers, Alec Epperly, Ben Epperly, and Ray Epperly; her sisters, Georgianna Harmon and Margurite Harris; her grandchildren, Meghann Wymer (Andrew), Jared Dellinger, Fran Bonniville (Nicholas), Jan Chandler (Brian), and Mary Beth Alexander (Ken); and her great-grandchildren, Addison Wymer, Colton and Chase Bonniville, Davis Chandler, and Kenneth and Payton Alexander.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton. The family will be at the home of her children.
