I am so saddened to learn of the passing of my great aunt, Gladys Sargent Smith! I have fond memories of hanging out at Uncle Beauty's and playing with Joan and Cookie in bygone days. My current health would not permit me to attend her service, but I will always have fond memories of Aunt Gladys and those days when families were able to remain close. My sincere sympathy to all the family.

Joan and David:
The good times we shared with Miss Gladys will forever be in my heart. I pray that God will give you strength but remember that she has gone on to a better place and is watching over us from above.

Joan, I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Gladys. I remember visiting her and Mr. Dick often with my grandmother. I believe I even have a picture of me, my sister TeeTee and cousin Lisa at her house when we very little children. I pray that God keep you and comfort you during this time.

Joan and David,
It hurts to see that God has called his Angel home so soon but she is in a better place. A place where there is no more pain, no more suffering and no more worrying. A place where the streets are paved with gold and a mansion is waiting for her.
Granny was always there for us growing up. I still hear the stories how she would make a plate full of bacon for me and my sister each when were table high just because we loved it so much. She was a crowned jewel and she can never ever be replaced so hold on to the memories she left and continue to pass on her wisdom. Our prayers are with you.
Love Christie, Kevin and KJ Myrthil.

Joan and David,
Sorry to hear of the loss of your grandmother. She was a special lady. I enjoyed being in her presence and she shared a lot of wisdom. I will miss cooking her the little cakes and sharing my little time with her. Bless you for taking care of such a "beautiful" lady.
