Grace HAYWOOD Obituary
Grace married David Reed in April of 1958. From this union they had four children, Steve, Phyllis, Charolette and Karen.
She leave to cherish her memory, her son, Steve Reed (Evelyn); daughters, Phyllis Watkins (Kevin), Charolette Porter, and Karen Reed; sisters, Martha Haywood and Lucy Richardson of White Plains, N.Y., and Marie Brunson (Frank) of Fairmont, N.C.; brothers, Tommy Lee Haywood (Gladys) and Leo Haywood (Ruby) of Lumberton, N.C., and James Haywood of Port Chester, N.Y.; grandchildren, Immanuel Porter, Chauntia Watkins, Shonda Watkins, Steven Reed, Dallas Reed, Vena Reed, and Caleb Reed; friends, Bunchie, Ruby, Vence, Margret, Nola, Kenny; many more friends from the Burnt Ordinary Village and friends from the Presbyterian Church.
A service to celebrate her life will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Smith Brothers Funeral Home. Family and friends will assemble by 10:30 a.m. for the service. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens. Remains rest at Smith Brothers Funeral Home, where a viewing will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, and a visitation from 5 to 6 p.m., at 545 E. Mercury Blvd., Hampton, 723-4117. Charlotte, Phyllis, Steve and Karen, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Miss Grace from mu childhood years as we all grew up together on Corey Circle. Be comforted in the knowledge that she is in a better place and no longer suffers. You and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.

I regret I will be unable to attend the service for Grace because I will be in California. However, I will keep special memories of her close to my heart. Dottie from the Stonehouse Presbyterian Church.
