To the Mayo and Jackson Family:My deepest sympathies go out to you and the family....Cookie was one of a kind ...always friendly when you stepped to him friendly and always to the point when you didn't ....I always called him friend ...he always had a kind word to share whenever we met...He always made me laugh from the eight grade until this very day when I think of him and Hunter....The night we rode to the beach with Hunter,Cookie,CC and myself in CC's mothers' car I never laughed so hard from that adventure getting home around 2am and everytime I tried to explain to my parents why I was late I just kept laughing even when that belt kept coming....The Miss Bunny and Hunter stories that Cookie and I laughed about crying tears because it was so funny...I'm going to miss my friend but one thing I have that I wont ever forget is how he taught me to be a friend (thats being yourself not changing at every wind and doctrine that comes along) being honest in your feelings not being afraid to laugh at yourself.....Sometimes you don;t know how many lives you touch just by being yourself, just a smile to give to someone goes a long way to someone who hasn't smiled all day until they see you ....Cookie was all of those and more .....We're all going to miss him but the memories that I have of him are priceless...So to the family he left all of us a very special part of himself fond memories of a great guy ....All my love ...Jesse James ...class of 68 Carver Trojans

Uncle "cookie" you will truly be missed. I will always have the good times we shared stored in my heart. You touched so many lives in so many different ways and you will truly be missed. Your laugh .. your smile.. and your words of encouragement that you would give someone needed your advice.. you were a fighter and im glad your struggle is now over and you are home where you belong. Continue to send your guidance down upon us. "Kim.. Ash... and Danni".. no one can truly undnerstand your loss and only time will heal your wounds but stay strong and remember your dad may not be here in presence but he will always be your guiding angel every step of the way. If you ever need someone to talk to im here and always will be. "Mrs. Perrin".. again no one will understand what you are feeling right now.. But your heart will always have him in it from every memory you shared and you have enough to make you smile everyday morning .. evening and night for a lifetime... Stay strong and when times get hard let your guardian angel lead the way..."Grandma" truly no one understand what you may be feeling losing a son.. I love you all... And to the sisters and brothers stick together to help each heal... Everyone stay strong each other and come together to help each other through this diffuculult time.. I love you all and is here for you all
