Helen BAIN Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Helen Klockgether Bain, 75, of Williamsburg, passed away on April 18, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh A. Klockgether and Margaret McFadden Klockgether.
Helen attended Misericordia University, and graduated with magna cum laude honors. After a career with the State Department in Washington, D.C., and Indonesia, where she met her husband, she married and devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. She also enjoyed a membership at St. Olaf Catholic Church.
Helen was always available to her friends and neighbors with her listening ear and quick wit. She stood for what was right and defended those in need. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Richard E. "Dick" Bain; daughters, Meg Hinders and her husband, Larry Hinders, and Kay Mangan and her husband, Mike Mangan; son, Hugh Bain and his wife, Keitha Dattilo-Bain; sisters, Martha A. Dougalas and Alice J. Teufel; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg. A mass of the Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 24, at 10 a.m. at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 104 Norge Lane, Williamsburg. Interment will follow the service at 2 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Richmond.

Meg, Kay, Hugh and Uncle Dick -
I am so sorry. I wish I could be there to give you all a big hug and a kiss. It really meant a lot to me to see you all when my dad passed away, and I apologize that I am unable to do the same for you. Please know that I'm keeping you all in my heart. I'll miss her a lot.
