I met Horace about three months ago when I became a volunteer at Walter Reed Nursing Home. He was such a gentle and loving man and I became very fond of him. I shall miss him and that sweet smile that was always on his face. Thank you for sharing him with me even for a little while. I was proud to have known him.

Horace was one of the finest people I have ever known. He was "mister fix it" to my family growing up. If we had electrical problems, Mom & Dad would say we need to get Horace to look at it. If Horace could not fix it, it could not be fixed. He was such a good man and will surely be missed. Horace, I am sure Nettie and Beverly Jo will have the coffee perking and waiting with open arms as you enter the Gates of Heaven. I grew up down the hill from Horace, Nettie and Beverly Jo. Beverly Jo and I played together and went to school together every day.

God Bless You All,
Jimmy Belvin
