Hughes REDCROSS Obituary

SILVER SPRING, MD. - Hughes Redcross, native of Ordinary and Hayes, Va., in Gloucester County passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at the Friends Nursing Home in Sandy Spring, Md.
For more than 55 years, she lived in Washington D.C., and Silver Spring, Md.
Immediate family include daughter, Marian Redcross Hayden; three granddaughters, Lori Cain, Washington D.C., Stella Carole Cain, Silver Spring, Md., and Marilyn Cain-Gordon, Esq., Silver Spring, Md.; two great- grandchildren, Brittani Gordon, Silver Spring, Md., and Robert Gordon III, Hampton University.
Visitation with the family will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010. Service immediately following at noon at the McGuire Funeral Home, 7400 Georgia Avenue, Washington, D.C., 202 882-6600. Graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Fred Carter at the Allen Family Cemetery,1473 Cedarbush Rd. Hayes, Va.
