Dear Mary Ann,
So many years of knowing you and your wonderful moher. She was very special to so many of us at St. Rose Church. She was my neighbor, a fellow church member. We shared many happy times together as members of the Fr. Byrnes Guild. We have missed her ever since she moved to Yorktown but age and distance kept us from being together as often as we should have been. We never stopped thinking about her and loving her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Cliff and all the family.

All four of us "Monta kids" loved visiting with Irene. As scattered as we are around the country, we loved our May get-togethers to celebrate her birthday as the heays piled up. Age and illness never dimished her loving heart and wonderful sense of humor. Each time we saw her, we closed our visit with "Good by and God bless you" so that is how I will sign off.

Mary Ann, My deepest sympathy to you and your brother. It is never easy to lose one's mother, no matter what stage of life. It was nice to see you recently at the reunion. Bob and I will lift you up in our prayers.

Your mother was an icon in Phoebus!
A wonderful lady whom I knew as a neighbor our town when you and I
ran the streets.
Later she and your dad were great friends and he a Brother Elk at the
#366 Lodge.
I will have Irene in our prayers.

I lived next door to Mrs. Gentry in Hampton for 14 years. Your obituary of her is exactly as I remember her ... a lovely lady, dedicated to the Lord and her music. My sympathies to her family. She was a lovely neighbor.
