Isaac JENNINGS Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
He leaves to treasure and cherish his beautiful memories his loving wife, Margaret; sons, Dewitt, Dwight and Isaac Jr. Jennings; daughters, Celena, Dorothy and Sabrina Jennings, Carolyn Russell, Mary Monroe (Cornelius) all of Hampton; 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth King and Frances Bennett (Gus) of Savannah, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Thelma Johnson, Mary Owens and Louise Flowers of Williamsburg; and brother-in-law, Raymond Jimmerson (Elizabeth) of Hampton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
Viewing will begin on Friday, Oct. 1, at noon and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Cooke Brothers Funeral Chapel.
Homegoing service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at St. James United Methodist Church, 1533 W. Queen Street, Hampton with the Rev. Dr. Solomon Wooden Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Garden with full Military Honors. Condolences may be sent to www.cookebros.com. To Celena,Mary and Family, May God all of you in this time of sorrow. I am praying for all.I know you daddy was always kind to me and told me I remember them telling me I could come to stay with them when my mother passed in 1973. Earth has on sorrow that heaven can not heal. Keep looking to Jesus.
