To Jeanette's Family-
I hope you know how much your Mom loved you and wanted the best for every one of you! She was one of my students at Kee Business College and she talked about wanting to make herself and her life better for all of you. She was very kind and beautiful and had a great spirit about her. She was loved by many and she will be missed tremendously! I was so sad to see this tragedy happen.
My words of encouragement for you is to NEVER settle for second best and go forward in life always looking to what lies ahead for you. Look to the Lord, like your Mom did, for strength and push hard to be the best you can be. Your Mom would want that for each of you!

I know your heart is broken because my mother isn't with me anymore. So I really feel your hurt. I'm not going to tell you that it get better but you have ask God to take your hand and lead you through this sad time.So stay strong and trust in God he will never let you down. my heart goes out to my best friend,s family. they say you never know h ow much you miss a person until they are not there anymore,i've shedded alot of tears behind jeanette and i know my heart will flutter every time i think of her. i love you jeanette and you'll always have a place in my heart.

Missing u so much. I can still see that pretty smile and wonderful laughter when we were in college. The good conversations and good advice u always had to give. There hasnt been a day that i havent thought about u. U will always be close to my heart. This is not goodbye sweet angel, this is a see u later ! Forever in my HEART!!!

To the Watford family, I am truly sorry for your lost. Jeanette will truly be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her. She was a a very sweet woman who cared a great deal for her family. I came to know her approx. 30 years ago when we belonged to the same church, then we became neighbors for years and we always were friends. More like family. To her children - keep you heads up and stick close together for that's what family do. Remember to give thanks and praise to God in all things. To her siblings- remember all the good times and let her light shine thru y'all. To Rev and Sis Watford may God contine to strengthen you and keep you. God has never failed and He continues to comfort you the evidence is there. Remember weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Love always

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

May god continue to bless the family. Myself and my sister Emily have known Jeanette since middle school she was very kind hearted ,nice and loving. Dear Mary, Mytesa, Tiwanna and Ms. Jeanette's beloved grandson. It is with much sadness that I write to you all this way. I have waited for days for the information to appear after learning about the tragic death of your mother. The last time I talked with your mother it was 12/2008. We talked about getting ready for the Christmas holiday and she always talked about her girls and her beloved grandson. It was during this time your mother mentioned she had moved from 17th street, but she did not give me the new address. I enjoyed interacting with your mother as her mentor through Operation Breaking Through, participating in a variety of meaningful activities that focused on building stronger families.
