Jeanette WILLIAMS Obituary

ARLINGTON - Jeanette 'Jan' V. (Allen) Williams, 89, of Arlington, Va., died Monday June 21, 2010.
Jan was born Oct. 23, 1920, in Lake Acapulco, Fla. She met her husband, Francis Marion Williams, during World War II and they married in 1942. While in the Air Force for 24 years, they lived in Europe and many states across America before settling in Hampton, Va. Since the death of her husband, Jan has resided in Arlington, Va.
Throughout her life, Jan was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Jan is preceded in death by her husband, Francis M. Williams (Lt. Col. Air Force Retired).
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard F. Williams (Lt. Col. USMC Retired) and Susan Williams of Lake Havasu, Ariz., and Robert S. Williams of Washington D.C.; three grandchildren Jeffery Williams (Lt. Col. USMCR), Michael Williams and his wife, Luana and Jayme Williams Cambra and her husband, Larry. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Emilee and Kelsey Williams.
Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. July 23, 2010, in the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C. She was loved dearly and will always be in our hearts.
