John OLIVER Obituary

HAYES - John Franklin Oliver Sr., 87, died peacefully on July 6, 2010 at Walter Reed Convalescent Center.
Franklin was a resident of the Coke area of Gloucester County, served in the Coast Guard and retired from A. Stanley Munday Company as construction foreman.
He was a kind and devoted father and will be missed dearly by his family.
His parents, Garry and Lucy Shepherd Oliver; and wife, Norma Oliver preceded him in death.
He is survived by daughters, Barbara Young, Cheryle Bashler, Judy Mesica
Sandra Lacharite, Susan Krug, Sheila Morrison; sons, Garry Oliver, John F. Oliver Jr., Donald Beal; stepdaughter, Catherine Kelly; stepson, Thomas Lane Jr.; sister, Sarah Cox; 25 grandchildren; and 31great-grandchildren.
Funeral service, officiated by the Rev. W. Donald Ambrose, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 9, at the funeral home.
