Chris and family, I will keep you in my prayers for the loss of John. There will never be another Forget-me-not drive that will be the same, John and I always would be there together and I would have to drag him away from there so that he would not burn up. I would not be a member of chapter 58 nor would I have become a Service Office had it not been for John I will miss him. The world lost another great man when we lost John, he will be missed by all who knew him, and even those who didn't know his name will miss his face when we do the next forget-me-not at Walmart next year.

There will never be another empty boot ceremony where I won't see John's face on whoever performs it.

Chris, Amey, Billy, Parker and Emily, and all the extended family.

You had a wonderful Husband, Father, Father-in-Law and Grandfather. John was somebody so very special - in so many ways. Sweet, kind, honest, sincere, and always there to help when needed. He always had a wonderful, optimistic attitude. I loved to hear him laugh! and to say "touche"! I know he wasn't "perfect" - but his good qualities far outweighed the bad. He was a great guy and like another son to me.

God bless you with His love and grace and fill your hearts and home with His perfect peace and comfort.

John, I will always treasure the special memories I have of you & Chris and Glenn & I together laughing, playing/cheating at cards, spending different weekends together, attending conferences, musical concerts and just enjoying each other's company as couples. The way the 4 of us fit as friends seemed magical. Life seemed a little easier knowing Chris and you were there whenever we needed it. Rest easy knowing that I will help Chris & Amey however I can.

God Speed good friend, you have Glenn's and my love with you forever.
