Chris and family, I will keep you in my prayers for the loss of John. There will never be another Forget-me-not drive that will be the same, John and I always would be there together and I would have to drag him away from there so that he would not burn up. I would not be a member of chapter 58 nor would I have become a Service Office had it not been for John I will miss him. The world lost another great man when we lost John, he will be missed by all who knew him, and even those who...

Chris,
Another Hero has gone home. I send you my heartfelt condolences and sympathy and can only say that I care and share your sorrow. God Bless you and your Famiiy.

I am so sorry that I could not make the ceremony so that I could express my sincerest condolences for our loss. We have missed John for quite some time and now we miss him even more. God Bless you all.

Chris, Louise and I are so sorry to learn of your loss and loss to your family. John had battled his illness for some time. We know we shall one day see him without illness on the other side...but until then we pray for you and your family.

There will never be another empty boot ceremony where I won't see John's face on whoever performs it.

I'm happy that he is "safe in HIS arms".

Amey -- I'm so sorry to hear about your father. My thoughts are with you & your family during this trying time. All my love...

Chris, Amey, Billy, Parker and Emily, and all the extended family.

You had a wonderful Husband, Father, Father-in-Law and Grandfather. John was somebody so very special - in so many ways. Sweet, kind, honest, sincere, and always there to help when needed. He always had a wonderful, optimistic attitude. I loved to hear him laugh! and to say "touche"! I know he wasn't "perfect" - but his good qualities far outweighed the bad. He was a great guy and like another son to me.
