Josephine WASH Obituary
She was a native of Tarboro, N.C. and had been a resident of Newport News for 40 years.
Mrs. Wash was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church; she enjoyed ceramics, having made manger sets as gifts for her friends.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Henry M. Wash; daughter, Lori Harrell and husband, Frank of Newport News; two sons, William Wash and wife, Darlene of Newport News and Henry Wash Jr. and wife, Pat of Richland, N.C.; sister, Julie Lloyd of Ohio; brother, Robert Osmond and wife, Nina of Newport News; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at Peninsula Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 24, in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
