Laura JOHNSON Obituary
Laura departed this life peacefully on April 8, 2010, after a long illness. Laura was preceded in death by her late husband, Thomas Miles Johnson, a native of New York.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and devoted son, Thomas Douglas Johnson, and daughter-in law, Alesla Frazier-Johnson; three grandsons, Thomas Douglas Johnson II Christopher Frazier Johnson, and Troy Chandler Johnson; two sisters, Virgia Speilman and Lu Neal; one brother-in-law, John Speliman; three sisters-in-law, Helen (Jane) Etheridge, Dorothy Etheridge, and Mamie Kimbrough; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The viewing will be held at M.E. Fisher Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 14, from noon until 7 p.m.. The funeral services will be held at First Baptist East End on Thursday, April 15, at 11 a.m. Service of Remembrance and Celebration entrusted to M.E. Fisher Funeral Home.
